Introducing Garmin’s Newest Range of GPS Units
The ultra-thin nüvi 1450 ıncludes a large 5-inch screen and provides multiple-point routing, spoken street names, lane assist with junction view to direct you through busy highway interchanges, pedestrian routing options, and ecoRoute to identify the most fuel-efficient route. It’s very easy to see where you’re proceeding on nüvi 1450’s 5-inch touchscreen display. The nüvi 1450 allows the viewing of map detail, driving directions, photos and much more in bright, brilliant color. With its big, bold display, you will never miss a thing. No more guessing which lane you will need to be in to make the next turn. Lane assist with junction view leads you to the correct lane for an approaching turn or exit, making unfamiliar intersections and exits simple to navigate. It realistically displays road signs and junctions on your route along with arrows that indicate the appropriate lane for navigation.
nüvi 1450 includes advanced navigation features to take the worry out of traveling. Together with route planning you can save 10 routes, specify via points and preview simulated turns on the 1450’s large screen. Plus, nüvi 1450 automatically sorts multiple destinations to present an economical route for errands, deliveries or sales calls. A trip log presents an electronic bread crumb trail of up to 10,000 points, so you may see where you’ve been on the map.
The intuitive interface greets you with two simple questions: “Where To?” and “View Map.” Touch the color screen to easily look up addresses and services and get voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that speak street names to your destination. It is available preloaded with detailed City Navigator NT street maps, nearly 6 million points of interest (POIs), 2-D or 3-D maps and the speed limit for almost all major roads. Its digital elevation maps show shaded contours at higher zoom levels, giving you a big picture of the surrounding terrain. With the 1450’s enhanced user interface, you can slide your finger to conveniently scroll between screens. You can also upload personalized points of interest (POIs). And by means of HotFix satellite prediction, nüvi calculates your location faster to get you there quicker.
Navigation is simply the starting. nüvi 1450 saves you fuel and money with ecoRoute — a earth-friendly feature that computes the most fuel-efficient route, tracks fuel usage and more. With photo navigation, you can download pictures from Garmin Connect Photos and navigate to them. Take advantage of the nüvi 1450’s traffic compatibility and navigate away from traffic. The nüvi 1450 is compatible with both the GTM 25, FM traffic receiver with lifetime subscription and the GDB 55, MSN Direct receiver (device receiver purchase required for either option).
