A Memorable Vacation in Europe
Backpacking is one of my favorite things to do and last summer I decided to make the big jump to Europe. After making my travel plans through Orbitz, I set off to listen some of the great music and visit as many places as I could in Europe.
Budapest, Hungary
The Sziget Festival in August! What an amazing event. We stayed on the island of Obudai off the River Danube in Hungary. The island was its own city of tents for the Festival. The stages were plentiful and the bands were great. Iron Maiden was the first to play and was followed by 5 more musical days with bands such as The Killers and 3 Inches of Blood. Kildare, Ireland
If you are going to be in the vicinity of Ireland, the Oxegen Festival held there is not something you have to see. Famous name headliners for all rock fans will be playing and there is camping near the premises. I personally haven’t experienced this festival, but a friend of mine highly recommends it. There were lots of friendly people and great music.
On the Mediterranean
A beach and camping adventure awaits you when you attend the Benicassim Festival in Spain each year. It is a four day event that attacts the crowds with some really great music and a fantastic atmosphere. The energy is like nothing you have ever experienced. It is a must see event if you are a music lover.
